Moving and a Hair Cut

Brad moved yesterday. We had been packing all of our stuff this week, so when he left for spring training, we could have everything. We don't think we will be moving back to Utah, so we didn't want to leave our stuff behind. The only bad thing is Lily no longer has a toddler bed... she has an air mattress on the floor, and you can tell how much she likes sleeping in it.
Lily and I will meet back up with brad in about 4 weeks. We are going to fly to Florida, and take Lil to Disney World for her birthday, then head on over to Georgia for Brad's baseball this summer. It has only been 2 days and Lily is already crying for her Dad... so hopefully this month goes fast.


Lily had her first hair cut yesterday... it doesn't seem like much, but i actually cut off like 2 1/2 inches! I just had to do something. It was EITHER, put ROGAINE on her forehead, or cut her MULLET off. So i cut some of the MULLET. Sorry... no more biker girl.

So Lily's new favorite word is "crap." I really don't catch myself saying it that much... but Brad seams to blame the situation on me. Maybe I do say it a lot... i don't know! But i guarantee you, it sounds a lot better coming out of my mouth than hers. I tried to give her another word to use instead... like "oh no," but today I dropped one of her shelves and she said "oh no!.... crap!"
Great huh!......CRAP!

Noodle Head

I don't know why all my writing is underlined... but it's actually quite annoying that i can't switch it back.
I took a few pictures of Lilia before church the other day eating noodles. She calls them "NEW-KNOCKS." Don't ask me why because she actually can talk really well. I tell her every time how to say it, and she will say it right. But as soon as she asked for them, she calls them again... new-knocks.... sweet!

OK, so everyone has been asking me for pictures of my belly... here it is! I'm 18 weeks along. I'm due on July 12. We find out if the little squirt is a boy or girl next Wednesday... the 11th. This could be the last pregnant picture of me online... just because I'm not a HUGE fan of putting HUGE pictures of myself for the world to see. Not that I am NOW. But you just wait. With Lily i got toxemia... and i looked like i had been bitten by a bee, had elephantiasis, or was extremely allergic to peanut butter, and ate a whole jar!

I decided that maybe, possibly, at one time , lily kinda resembles me a little.... maybe?

Freedom!!

Brad and I decided to switch Lily to a toddler bed Wednesday. I thought it would be a good idea to have her change now, while she is comfortable. Instead of changing it, right before or after we move in March. Wednesday night... I was about to kill myself!!
8:00pm- we put lilia to bed
8:01pm- Lily learns how to open her bedroom door, and shows us by coming out and laughing
8:02pm - Again, comes out, and still thinks its hilarious!
*Now this goes on for about 15
8:20pm- I go in and sing lily to sleep
1am- Lily starts screaming because im not still sitting by her bed when she woke up. Brad went in and put her back to sleep (30 min)
4am- I hear Lily playing in her room.
4:05 Lily opens our bedroom door, with a handfull of diapers and says.... "momma...... I done" meaning, she thinks it time to get up!
4:06- I take her to her room and fall asleep on her bedroom floor until she woke me up at 7

I made Lily a new comforter for her new big girl bed. Its blue because she loves Cinderella and im turing her bed into a carriage! I started to make her pillows tonight, and im making netting to go from the ceiling to her bed. Im even adding carriage wheels!! I know, im a geek... but i like my hobby! Pics... to come.

World #1 Mom....

The other day Brad, Barbara, Lily, and I were all sitting in Barbara's living room. Barb got up, went down the hall and the front door was open. Now with all the people going in and out of this house... its no surprise... so Barb shuts the door. About 5 minutes later I don't see Lily but I hear her wining. I search the bathroom, bedroom kitchen... no Lil. So for some reason i decide to open the front door and look. There she was NO coat, NO shoes... with about a foot in a half of snow outside. All she said was "cold!" I felt really bad and told her... "good girl for staying by the door,"(by the way its like 7 pm and close to dark outside) Then I realized that she didnt stay by the door. She had gone to the garage, got her wagon, and drug it out to the end of the street... when she probably realized "hmmm this probably isnt a good idea... Im FREAKIN FREEZING!" Anyway moral of the story Lily can open the front door now and I need to be on serious child patrol 24/7!

It could just be my hormones right now... but when Brad showed me this, and the million times I have watched it since,... I bawled!

3 Years

I can't believe we have already been married 3 years, and with going on two kids... it's crazy. Brad took me to Vegas for our anniversary, which was on the second... and we had a blast. We watch Cirque Du Soleil "mystere", and Phantom of the Opera.... AMAZING!! We were there only for 3 days, but i swear i walked more than I have in my life. We stayed at the New York New York Hotel, ate awesome food, and learned how to play a little Craps...shhhh! It was nice to be just the two of us for a couple days. I can honestly say I'm married to the love of my life, and my best friend!

Lets just say Lily didnt get the best night sleep last night, so when it was time for her nap and she was finishing up some watermelon from lunch and started falling alseep while standing up. HA!

Trip to Tahoe

Brad, Lilia, and I all went and stayed at my moms house in California. My cousin Tia got married in the Sacramento Temple and i was one of her bridesmaids. I didnt get any picture with my family or the wedding because, when I took out my camera to take pictures... my dang memmory card was still in our computer! AHH! Anyway, I still got some really great pictures in Tahoe. Which we stopped at, and stayed in a beautiful cabin, on our way home.

 

 

 

 

Halloween!

I had such a blast taking Lily around Trick-or-Treating. After I got settled down from the stressful costumes... which i finished 30 minutes before we needed to leave... We had a great time. We took lily around the mall and parking lot for a trunk or treat, (which we just mist the costume contest!...sad) then we took lily around the neighborhood. It was so cute to hear her say "tic-aw-teet"....."tank oo" She was so polite and i was soo proud!
ps... Brad wasn't upset in all these pictures... I couldn't find FACE paint, so we ended up using regular paint that was washable. SOO he couldn't really move his face. He said it felt like cement hah!

Well, I first want to say, I have the sweetest husband! Saturday, I was completely down for the count, with the flu. It was horrible. My bones ached, and lets just say the toilet bowl was my best friend. Well Brad, watched Lily, Cleaned the house, did all the laundry, and took care of me. He is soo great! I LOVE HIM!! Anyway so yesterday i was afraid to use my toothbrush because of what disease i might catch... so i decided to boil mine and brads toothbrush. I filled one of my pots with water and stuck the toothbrushes in, then walked back to the living room where brad and barb were. I asked both of them to remind me of the brushes on the stove. Well about an hour later, barb got up to go to bed. She walks down the hall, and i hear her coughing really bad! So i come down the hall the whole house is filled with smoke. It was like a movie, i couldn't see a thing. I couldn't breath either. Then i got this sudden fear, because lily's room is connected to the kitchen, and just separated by a door. Her room separates the kitchen and the living room. She has a door on each side. I knew if it was this smoky she could be suffocating!! So i freak out, opening her door, and can i tell you, she was perfectly sound asleep, with not even an ounce of smoke in her room. I didn't really think about it last night (probably because the smell of burnt plastic killed my brain cells) But today, i feel so blessed. First that I didn't burn the house down, but also that Lily was ok, and didn't have to fight to breath through the smoke. I mean, i might just be blowing this all up, but both smoke detectors didn't have batteries, i would have had no clue if barb didnt get up and realize it! We all just have someone watching over us.

Halloween!!

I just love halloween! Can you guess what we're going to be be!? I had a lot of fun making all our costumes.. at times. Im still working on the tin man a little and still have to make the lion costume for brads sister. But were going to have a fun party and haunted house for the little ones. SPOOKY! Barbara is the wicked witch and were trying to get dan to be a lollie pop kid! :)
Can I just say... i dont think im ever going to make costumes EVER again!

 

 

 

 

I need help!

I entered Lily and i into this diaper decorating contest for saturday. Its one of my favorite baby stores and its giving away gifts and gift certificates! I have no clue what to do for lily's diaper...please let me know if you have any cute ideas!! and....um hurry! :)
