Well, I first want to say, I have the sweetest husband! Saturday, I was completely down for the count, with the flu. It was horrible. My bones ached, and lets just say the toilet bowl was my best friend. Well Brad, watched Lily, Cleaned the house, did all the laundry, and took care of me. He is soo great! I LOVE HIM!! Anyway so yesterday i was afraid to use my toothbrush because of what disease i might catch... so i decided to boil mine and brads toothbrush. I filled one of my pots with water and stuck the toothbrushes in, then walked back to the living room where brad and barb were. I asked both of them to remind me of the brushes on the stove. Well about an hour later, barb got up to go to bed. She walks down the hall, and i hear her coughing really bad! So i come down the hall the whole house is filled with smoke. It was like a movie, i couldn't see a thing. I couldn't breath either. Then i got this sudden fear, because lily's room is connected to the kitchen, and just separated by a door. Her room separates the kitchen and the living room. She has a door on each side. I knew if it was this smoky she could be suffocating!! So i freak out, opening her door, and can i tell you, she was perfectly sound asleep, with not even an ounce of smoke in her room. I didn't really think about it last night (probably because the smell of burnt plastic killed my brain cells) But today, i feel so blessed. First that I didn't burn the house down, but also that Lily was ok, and didn't have to fight to breath through the smoke. I mean, i might just be blowing this all up, but both smoke detectors didn't have batteries, i would have had no clue if barb didnt get up and realize it! We all just have someone watching over us.

Halloween!!

I just love halloween! Can you guess what we're going to be be!? I had a lot of fun making all our costumes.. at times. Im still working on the tin man a little and still have to make the lion costume for brads sister. But were going to have a fun party and haunted house for the little ones. SPOOKY! Barbara is the wicked witch and were trying to get dan to be a lollie pop kid! :)
Can I just say... i dont think im ever going to make costumes EVER again!

 

 

 

 

I need help!

I entered Lily and i into this diaper decorating contest for saturday. Its one of my favorite baby stores and its giving away gifts and gift certificates! I have no clue what to do for lily's diaper...please let me know if you have any cute ideas!! and....um hurry! :)

Our first snow?

It's here too soon! I cant believe it already snowed!! I am so not ready for winter yet....expecially SNOW!! Not really my FAVORITE thing. Lily liked it though. She played out in the yard before church eating all the snow off the bushes. I need to buy a winter house, that i can go to everytime its freezing here in Logan.  
 
 
 

Paint Project

This year I am making Lilys costume. So when i was walking through Joannes, I saw these cute cheap little cat masks, and thought it would be a cute and fun activity for Lily. She loved painting... not only painting but EATING the paint.... sweet!!

BYU vs. USU

We got the chance tonight to go and watch the BYU USU game... It was more a BYU game than a USU game, lets just put it that way. Anyway we had fun... and lily had a blast! She was soo hyped up on cotton candy, but hey what are late friday nights for!
