I LOVE being her mom!

Late this afternoon I took Lily to the pool. We had so much fun together. Sometimes I feel like I'm a little hard on her, because she sooo SMART! (yeah that's right... my kids smarter than your kid!...just kidding) so it makes me feel like she is older than she is... but really, she is such a good girl. She tells me she loves me everyday. I call her my leech, because i can't even go to the bathroom without her. That's annoying! But I love watching her grow, and become this little lady. I feel so blessed to be HER mom.

And... I still haven't had the little BOOGER! Or should I say

Update

Well I went to the doctor today and I'm measuring right on the money. I tried to talk to him and tell him that both Brad and I were 10 lbs... but he calculates the baby to deliver around 8. I then went on to tell him that I WILL SUE HIM IF I HAVE A 10 lb BABY! He seemed to be pretty confident.

I AM dilated though.... to a 2 and 50% effaced. So we will see how much longer I can hang out.

I have been so tired lately! Im sure not even close to as tired as Im going to be having 2 kids, but Im still excited. I was having kind of a ruff day today and Brad said "I love you honey.... even if I had more wives... you would still be my favorite!" hahha i know! Im going to take that as a compliment and forget it. 

Getting Big

 

My recent conversations with Lily have been well.... hilarious

Example 1          (Lily) "um Mom you belly is too big"

Example 2         (Me) "hey Lil, do you want to bless the food"

                            (Lily) "ok....Heavenly Father, thank you for my noodles, 

                             thank you for my cup...thank you for my water... 

                             thank you for my fork........" 

                            This goes on for like 5 minutes!

Example 3         (Lily) "old McDonald had a camel... E I E I O. With a ______ um MOM!  

                            What DOES a camel say?"

                            (Me)  "I dont know Lily, sorry"

                            (Lily) "hmm... Old McDonald had a donkey E I E I O. 

                            (serioulsy can't McDonald have normal animals!)

Example 4         (Lisa) "Hey Lily, can you do this?" (Lisa puts her hands up in a heart shape)

Peace at the Pool

 

Can I just say, I am a huge fan of arm floaties!!! I took Lily to the pool today and we tried her dollar store arm floaties! They're awesome! I know I sound a little too excited about something that has been around for awhile, but they took so much stress off my day. Once Lily got the hang of letting go of my hands, and knowing that she will still float... I wasn't chasing her around the pool or steps to make sure she didn't fall in. After like 15 minutes she was pushing off the stairs and gliding out to me, in the middle of the pool. Yes... she glided... there was NO kicking :)

Our Memorial Day Weekend

Everyone was posting about their fun camping trips and memorial day fun i decided to post about our memorial day MOVE! Yup, we found a place in Raleigh NC and moved in on Saturday. All of our boxes are about unpacked and we are getting a little more settled. 

As we were unpacking... i couldn't help to notice how many dang hats Brad has... ITS RIDICULOUS! This is just one bag... I opened 2 MORE HUGE boxes of them.

"Say hello to my little friend." This moth is actually really huge. Lily loved it, until it flew in her face... then she ran away screaming crying! ha ha

Brad took all of Lily toys in our trailer probably about 3 months ago in February. So when we got all her toys out... she thought they were all NEW! She kept saying "Oh mom look at my new____" Or "MOM! Look a new horse!" I've come to the conclusion that we should never buy kids toys... we should take them away and give them back months later! Would that be mean? She hasn't come out of her room since.



That should do it... besides eating our dinner on packing boxes this weekend, that about rounds up our exciting memorial day.

Lisa's Birthday!!!

 Today is my sister-in-laws birthday!! Let me tell you how amazing she is.

- shes beautiful

- selfless

- a good mom

- probably one of the most intelligent people i know. (She knows everything there is about the scriptures!) 

Just all around a great person. She is letting Brad and I stay here, at her home, till we find a place to live in NC. Truly a awesome person!

My Birthday/Mothers day

I'm 23!!

I had such a great mothers day and Birthday. Brad woke up early and made me a big breakfast, everyone was home, so we all just got to hang out as a family. Then later that night we grilled some burgers and hot dogs... mmmm i love greasy cheesing hamburgers!!

The cake was very good! My favorite was the chocolate dipped cookies... and the huge chocolate piece in the middle! * My name was spelt wrong so we switched the N and the A and turn the A sideways to look more like an E!

Brad got me Birthstone charms for Lilia and the "baby boy"

Lisa my awesome sister-in-law got my a gift certificate to forever 21... I think Ill save it for when i don't stretch out everything i wear!:)

AND... My mother-in-law sent me this gorgeous watch... THAT SHE MADE!!! I love it sooo much. I actually had been wanting a watch, and i wear this one everyday! LOVE IT. Thanks barb!

*** I also had a doctors app. on Monday to see if my placenta was still low. They were worried that i might have needed a C section... but it moved! So no cutting my insides open! Anyway the doctor measured the baby and said his head was already down... and he was already 4 lbs! I'm not due till JULY 12 PEOPLE!!! I'm going to be one of those moms you see on the news saying... "Women has 14 pound baby.".... hmmm maybe I do want a C section!

Picking strawberrys

Last week I got some cute pictures of Brad and Lily picking strawberries. It was perfect weather but a little sunny so Lily kind of looks wierd

 

This CRACKS me up!

So Brad and I, when we put Lily to bed at night, always read her a couple books. Tonight when Brad put Lily to bed... it was quite hilarious. First, Lily has a new obsession with the book "Are You My Mother?" Its a really cute story... but obviously some is a - little - jelious! Because when i came upstairs and peeked on them Brad was reading "Are You My Daddy." He was replacing each "mother" with "daddy." When I caught him in action I started laughing... and he just looked at me and said "What why do you get it all the time?!"

Sunday we took the family and had a little picnic down at the park. The weather was so hot that day... but when we showed up at about 6:30 the weather was perfect!!

Brad and Travis are making a doll house for Lily. She loves Kailyn's so much, that is all she plays with.
